| Groundwater and Surface Water Monitoring at the Closed City of Neillsville Municipal Landfill After completing an expanded site investigation in 1999 involving new monitoring well construction, stream sampling, and defining the extent of Chlorinated VOC contamination, Sand Creek Consultants has been performing the semi-annual groundwater and surface water monitoring at the closed City of Neillsville Landfill. Duties include groundwater sample collection from the on-site monitoring wells; collection of dissolved oxygen, pH, and other parameters from several locations in the creek located adjacent to the landfill; and preparation of semi-annual monitoring reports which are submitted to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. |
