| Reducing Monitoring Requirements at a Closed Landfill Sand Creek Consultants was hired to compile over 15 years’ worth of sampling data from 14 monitoring wells associated with a closed landfill in Northern Wisconsin. Following compilation of the data into a useful, electronic format, SCC evaluated the data for trends and overall detections in each monitoring well. Results of the evaluation revealed that many parameters could be removed from the analyte list for several of the monitoring wells, thereby reducing future laboratory costs. |
